David Beckham wants former Real Madrid team-mate Roberto Carlos to coach his Miami-based Major League Soccer team, according to a report in AS.
The Brazilian icon, now 42, has been in management since 2012 and is currently the head coach of ISL side Dehli Dynamos.
And Beckham is keen to add a big name to his backroom staff before he brings in any players ahead of the franchise's launch, with Carlos interested in taking up the Englishman on his offer.
Beckham's proposal to start a new team in the Miami area is still under negotiation pending stadium financing and location approval.
