Chelsea have put a high price tag on the Belgian in an attempt to ward off interest from Real Madrid this summer
Chelsea have put a £73 million valuation on Thibaut Courtois in order to scare off Real Madrid, according to the Evening Standard.
The report claims that the Belgium international wants a return to La Liga having spent three seasons on loan at Atletico Madrid.
But Real Madrid may target a move for the 23-year-old if they fail in their pursuit of Manchester United’s David De Gea.
Chelsea are also confident that they can command such a hefty fee for their first-choice goalkeeper - despite the club’s woeful defence of their Premier League title this season.
