The Sky Blues will use three players as bait to secure the services of talented centre-back John Stones next summer, reducing their wage-bill in the process
Manchester City are willing to offer three of their players in exchange for Everton's highly rated defender John Stones, according to the Mirror.
City's pursuit of the England centre-back will see them part with Eliaquim Mangala, Jesus Navas and Wilfried Bony - a trio worth a combined fee of £75 million - in order to capture the 21-year-old.
Stones looked set for a summer move to Premier League champions Chelsea last year but City now appear to have moved into pole position in the race to secure his signature.
