The former Juventus coach is imminently expected to submit his resignation from the Azzurri and be confirmed as Chelsea's new manager
Italy coach Antonio Conte is set to officially confirm he will step down from his post following Euro 2016 ahead of taking over the Chelsea job, according to Rai Sport.
The former Juventus coach has been tipped as the front-runner for the permanent managerial position at Stamford Bridge, with Guus Hiddink to depart at the end of the current campaign.
Conte will therefore call FIGC president Carlo Tavecchio on Monday in order to formally submit his desire to leave at the end of the European championships in the summer, when his Italy contract expires.
Chelsea will therefore be able to announce the 46-year-old as their new boss for the upcoming season.
