Everton have opened talks with Manchester United aimed at bringing midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin to Goodison Park in January, says the Daily Mail.
Schneiderlin has not made a single Premier League start under Jose Mourinho this season and the Red Devils manager will allow the Frenchman to leave Old Trafford in January if he can find another club.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman worked with Schneiderlin whilst both were at Southampton and is now lining up a £24 million move to be reunited with his former player at Goodison Park.
It’s been a frustrating time at United for Schneiderlin but working with Koeman again would seem the most logical next step since he is not in Mourinho’s plans moving forward.
