Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester City all want to sign the Everton defender this summer but will have to make a significant bid to persuade the Toffees to sell
Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester City are set to battle it out to sign £50 million-rated John Stones in the summer, according to the Daily Mail.
The Everton defender was the subject of a £38m bid from Chelsea last year, which the Toffees turned down.
But a number of top European clubs are set to renew their interest at the end of the season. Rafael Benitez reportedly asked Madrid to pursue the centre-back before his sacking.
Real are hoping their transfer ban is lifted or at least delayed until January 2017 but will face competition for Stones from the likes of City, who have struggled defensively in the absence of Vincent Kompany this season.
