The Bayern Munich boss, who is set to replace Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad Stadium this summer, is unsure over Joe Hart's ability and is targeting the Slovenia international
Pep Guardiola is keen to bring Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic to Manchester City this summer, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The Bayern Munich manager is set to replace Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season, and feels a new 'keeper is required to shore up the City defence.
Guardiola is sceptical over Joe Hart's suitability as a No.1 while Willy Caballero is likely to be allowed to leave the club in a bid to gain first-team football.
And Handanovic is seen as a perfect replacement despite having recently signed a new contract that ties him to the San Siro outfit until 2019.
The only obstacle to any deal is whether Roberto Mancini's side can arrest their recent poor form and secure a place in the Champions League, as the Serie A side would be unwilling to sell any of their star players.
