Pep Guardiola wants to add to his English contingent at Manchestr City with the signing of Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, according to The Mirror.
The England international is high on the list of the former Bayern Munich manager's transfer targets despite an injury plagued 2015-16 campaign restricting him to just 141 minutes of competitive football.
The 24-year-old, who will feature for England at Euro 2016, has two years left to run on his current deal at the Emirates Stadium, but competition in central midfield in north London has heightened following the summer arrival of Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach.
