Jamie Vardy is set to sign a new contract at Leicester City as the club look to ward off interest from Chelsea and Manchester United, according to The Guardian.
Vardy has scored 16 goals in the Premier League this season as the Foxes have risen to the top of the Premier League, where they currently hold a three-point lead over second-placed Manchester City.
The England international will subsequently receive a significant salary hike from his current £40,000-per-week and the deal will tie him to the club until 2019.
Vardy joined Leicester in a £1 million transfer from Fleetwood Town in 2012 and has proved a revelation, even becoming the first Premier League player in history to score in 11 consecutive top-flight games.
