Struggling with defensive injuries and in need of general rejuvenation, the Red Devils are said to be preparing an offer for the versatile Italy international
Manchester United have joined the list of clubs interested in signing Roma's Alessandro Florenzi, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.
Barcelona, Arsenal and Inter have all been credited with an interest in the 25-year-old, but with Florenzi able to operate in both midfield and at right-back, the Italian would be a prudent signing for the Red Devils given their ongoing defensive issues.
The Old Trafford outfit are said to be ready to table an offer of £24 million for the utility man, who is contracted at Stadio Olimpico until 2019.
