The Argentine is back on the radar at Old Trafford, with Atletico Madrid and Zenit St Petersburg also keen, with Benfica not willing to sell for less than his release clause
Manchester United are ready to reignite their interest in Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan, but may be forced to pay up to £35 million in order to meet the 27-year-old's release clause.
The Argentine has 10 assists and two goals to his name after 15 league appearances so far this season, prompting interest from Atletico Madrid and Zenit St Petersburg who may attempt to beat United to the winger's signature.
But, according to Portuguese daily Record, the Old Trafford outing are leading the race, having had a sustained interest in Gaitin for a number of years.
