Manchester United are set to offer Jose Mourinho a contract extension beyond that of his current three-year-deal, according to The Guardian.
The Old Trafford hierarchy are said to have been impressed with the start the Portuguese has made and firmly believe he is the man to bring a 21st title to the red side of Manchester.
The view that Mourinho has been disgruntled around the training ground has caused some bafflement among the higher echelons at United with those in charge seeing a spritely, light-hearted manager.
It's understood the 53-year-old's future is ultimately dependant on results and style of play, but the Glazers are happy with both aspects of Mourinho's tenure so far.
