The incoming City boss has four names on his radar - the Arsenal midfielder, John Stones, Ilkay Gundogan and Aymeric Laporte
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is on Pep Guardiola’s four-man transfer shortlist for Manchester City, according to The Times.
The report claims that the incoming City boss is targeting the Arsenal midfielder, along with Everton centre-back John Stones, Borussia Dortmund centre-back Ilkay Gundogan and Athletic Bilbao’s central defender Aymeric Laporte.
Guardiola’s interest in Oxlade-Chamberlain is due to him looking to play with wingers in his system for City next season.
City are also ready to listen to offers for Eliaquim Mangala as the 25-year-old has failed to impress since his £42 million arrival from Porto in 2014.
