Paris Saint-Germain have made an ambitious approach for Manchester United attacker Anthony Martial, according to a report in L'Equipe.
The Parc des Princes outfit confirmed on Friday that Zlatan Ibrahimovic's tie as a player with them will come to a close after the Coupe de France final a week on Saturday, and they are eager to find a replacement.
Laurent Blanc covets an attacker who can play on the left of the forward three in his preferred line-up, and Martial has proven he is capable of fulfilling both roles while at Old Trafford.
However, they are acutely aware that prising the forward from United will be a difficult task given that he only joined the Red Devils from Monaco last August.
While les Parisiens believe a move will be very tricky to broker, they believe that the lure of playing Champions League football in his hometown still gives them a shot of signing the 20-year-old.
