The French champions have reportedly made the goalkeeper their top summer target and are prepared to pay £30 million for the 25-year-old but face competition from Spain
Paris Saint-Germain have made David de Gea their No.1 target this summer but face competition from Real Madrid for the Manchester United goalkeeper, according to the Daily Mirror.
De Gea was close to joining Madrid last year but confusion over the completion of the paperwork necessary to make the deal official kept him at United.
The Spaniard has since returned to first-team action at Old Trafford but Real are likely to revive their interest in bringing him to the Santiago Bernabeu after Euro 2016.
PSG brought in Kevin Trapp from Eintracht Frankfurt but the 25-year-old has suffered from inconsistency and the French champions have reportedly made adding a top-class goalkeeper their priority.
