The Colombian has struggled during the current campaign and, with Zinedine Zidane a big fan of the Blues winger, a switch involving both players could happen this summer
Real Madrid are prepared to offer James Rodriguez as part of a deal to entice Eden Hazard away from Chelsea, according to The Sun.
Both the Colombian and Belgium internationals have been well below-par in 2015/16, but Madrid see the Blues star as an upgrade on the former Porto and Monaco man.
Zinedine Zidane is a confirmed admirer of Hazard, while James was a target at Stamford Bridge in 2014 before he finally opted for the Spanish capital.
James has scored five goals in 18 La Liga appearances for Real so far this season, while Hazard is still searching for his first Premier League strike in the current campaign.
