Real Madrid are set to launch a bid for Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Zinedine Zidane’s side are confident that a £30 million offer will be enough to land the 26-year-old, who impressed for France at Euro 2016 earlier this summer.
Newcastle are expecting a bid once Paul Pogba’s move to Manchester United has been confirmed.
Madrid were also in the running for Pogba but the report claims that they do not have the financial power to compete with United for the Juventus midfielder.
Before Euro 2016, West Brom had enquired about a potential deal for Sissoko, while Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Everton have registered their interest after the tournament.
