Southampton have agreed a deal worth €15 million with Bayern Munich for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, according to Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet.
The 20-year spent last season on loan at Schalke and it is understood that the Danish midfielder isn’t in the plans of new manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Southampton have been actively looking for a replacement for Victor Wanyama, after the midfielder moved to Tottenham to reunite with Mauricio Pochettino.
And now they’ve finally found their man, if reports are to be believed. Hojbjerg’s agent is quoted as saying, "Yes, I can confirm that Pierre switches to Southampton."
