The north Londoners are keen to offer the Argentine manager a new contract in an attempt to ward off rumoured interest from Premier League duo Manchester United and Chelsea
Tottenham have opened talks with Mauricio Pochettino over a new contract in an attempt to ward off interest from Manchester United and Chelsea, according to the Daily Mirror.
Pochettino currently has Spurs bidding for their first league title since 1961 after dramatically transforming their fortunes since arriving at the club in 2014.
Tottenham are just five points behind leaders Leicester and therefore is a man in demand, with both United and Chelsea rumoured suitors.
Chelsea are looking to find their long-term replacement for Jose Mourinho, while it is widely expected that United will part company with Louis van Gaal at the end of the campaign.
