Watford have turned down a £38 million bid for striker Odion Ighalo, according to The Guardian.
Having already wrapped up a £48 million deal for Zenit striker Hulk, free-spending Chinese club Shanghai SIPG have turned their attention to Ighalo.
The 27-year-old scored 17 goals in 42 appearances for the Hornets last season following their promotion to the Premier League.
Watford have already rejected a £30 million bid from title-winning Leicester City this summer, with owner Giampaolo Pozzo determined to hold onto his star players.
