The Bayern Munich boss will not go public with his move to the Etihad Stadium in case his side are drawn against them in the Champions League
Pep Guardiola will not confirm he is joining Manchester City until the end of the season in case they are drawn against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, according to the Sun.
City officials believe they have secured his services for the 2016-17 campaign and beyond and are said to be unconcerned by the prospect of a late move from Manchester United.
The only thing stopping Guardiola from going public, the report claims, is the prospect of a tie between his current club and his next destination in Europe's top competition.
Reports in France have claimed United met with Guardiola last week but the Red Devils have dismissed those rumours.
