Senate President Bukola Saraki is now at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT). He was said to have arrived in company of 30 senators (and not 80 as some media reported), including the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu; Dino Melaye, Samuel Anyanwu and Stella Oduah.
Bukola Saraki's his trial for alleged false declaration of assets is currently on-going at the CCT.
The Senate president came in a few minutes before 10am.
Saraki, upon his arrival walked in quickly and sat on the second row of seats in the audience, taking a seat beside Senate leader, Aliyu Ndume senate leader.
There was a heavy presence of the police and men of the Department of State Services (DSS), who are conducting thorough search on people coming into the premises of the tribunal.
