Senate President Bukola Saraki
The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, entered the National Assembly after officers of the Department of State Security Service (DSS) called off its siege to the legislative building.
He came in company with a retinue of aides to greet jubilant senators and members of the House of Representatives.
But, he left again after exchanging pleasantries with lawmakers.
Operatives of DSS and men of the Nigeria Police Force had earlier denied lawmakers entry into the National Assembly by blocking the complex.
Famzn News understands that the security operatives arrived at the complex at about 6.00am.
It was gathered that the security operatives said they barricaded the National Assembly based on order ”from above.”
