Senate President Bukola Saraki and Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Saturday held a closed-door meeting at the Government House in Asaba.
Saraki, a former Governor of Kwara State was accompanied to the visit by Senators Dino Melaye and Peter Nwaoboshi.
This will be Saraki’s first visit to Okowa since he left the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Details of what they discussed have not emerged as at the time of this report but it is believed to be connected to the 2019 elections.
