Senate Leader Ahmad Lawan has claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari shouldn't be a man, however a phenomenon.
Lawan stated this on Monday whereas internet hosting members of the North East Youth Coalition for President Muhammadu Buhari (NEYCPB) in his workplace.
As said by the lawmaker, Buhari is a phenomenon as a result of his persona is now a motion and never a single persona.
“Buhari is a phenomenon; it’s a movement. What I mean here, let me not be misquoted. When I said Buhari is not a man, Buhari is an attitude to life, what is that attitude? Integrity and commitment,” Lawan stated.
“He got here into politics to not generate profits. It is our responsibility as residents to not permit the president to do it alone. No matter how you're, how geared up you're, in terms of management and administration, particularly of a nation that's as advanced Nigeria, you want each hand to be on deck.
“That is what we are attempting to do; that's what the coalition is looking for to do. When the president got here in 2015, the primary actions he took have been essential to rescue and safe the North East.
“The North East has been rescued. Insurgency, as soon as it begins, it doesn’t cease like when rain begins and stops.
“You will always find from time to time some signs that they are still there. But the signs have been reduced to suicide bombing of soft targets, not declaring a caliphate with headquarters in Bama or anywhere else. We really owe gratitude to our president.”
