These developments follow a closed door session which lasted for more than 3 hours which the Deputy Senate President said afforded the Senate the opportunity to deliberate on issues that would entangle smooth operations of the National Assembly.
Ekweremadu added that the Senators have also resolved to stand by the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki in his trial until he has been proven guilty according to the laws and tenets of democracy the world over.
Part of the resolution, Ekweremadu revealed, was the withdrawal of all pending cases in Court in the interest of the nation.
