The Nigerian Senate has confirmed the appointment of the chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Mr. Babatunde Fowler during its session today.
Fowler who was appointed in August by President Muhammadu Buhari has been in acting capacity before his confirmation.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, revealing his appointment back in August.
Fowler replaced Samuel Ogungbesan who was appointed by ex President Goodluck Jonathan at the tail end of his tenure.
