The Senate has disclosed that it had instructed its Chairman, Committee on Appropriation, Sen. Danjuma Goje to talk to newsmen over issues raised by President Muhammadu Buhari on the 2018 Budget.
President Muhammadu Buhari had raised some issues over a few of the alterations made by the legislative arm of presidency.
As said by the commander in chief, the federal lawmakers made reductions amounting to N347bn within the allocations to four,700 initiatives submitted to them for consideration and launched 6,403 initiatives of their very own amounting to N578bn.
Senate spokesperson, Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, in a assertion assured that Goje will make revelations about contentious areas.
