Senator Abu Ibrahim has called on Senate President and Speaker House of Representatives Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara respectively to resign from the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Ibrahim said the two main officers of the National Assembly had planned the impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Recall that there was a mass defection of APC members of the National Assembly to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday.
Speaking on the development, Ibrahim said the party would be forced to expel both men if they do not leave the party.
He told the press in Abuja on Wednesday that his position reflects that of every APC lawmaker.
As stated by him, Saraki and Dogara can no longer be trusted by the party.
