Former Deputy Governor of Osun State Iyiola Omisore has dismissed information making rounds that he has dropped his gubernatorial ambition.
In an assertion by his media group on Wednesday, the previous lawmaker described the hearsay because the handiwork of his political detractors and enemies of progress.
Omisore famous that the information that he had jettisoned his gubernatorial ambition as “one of their antics of misinforming the good people of Osun state especially now that the governorship election is fast approaching.”
The former deputy governor stated the hearsay was a part of the sequence of depraved lies packaged by his political enemies to confuse individuals of the state.
He stated: “This is to state emphatically that I, Senator Iyiola Omisore continues to be within the race for the governorship election in our pricey Osun state scheduled to carry on September, 22, this 12 months.
“My ambition to contest the governorship election remains intact and unshaking by the Special grace of God. I am saying here that I have not and will not shy away from my determination to liberate the people of Osun state by serving them as the next governor of Osun state.”
Omisore whereas describing the hearsay of his withdrawal from the race as figment of the creativeness of some determined politicians requested his teeming supporters to ignore the hearsay and proceed to work and pray for his victory within the September governorship ballot within the state.
