Sevilla have reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid for the loan signing of Argentina midfielder Matias Kranevitter.
Both La Liga clubs have confirmed Kranevitter is set to spend the upcoming season at Sevilla, subject to him passing a medical and the contract being signed.
Kranevitter will bolster Sevilla's midfield ranks following the departure of duo Grzegorz Krychowiak and Ever Banega to Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan respectively.
The 23-year-old joined Atletico in 2015 from River Plate and was loaned straight back to the Argentine outfit until December.
Kranevitter returned to the Colchoneros in January and made 11 appearances for the Champions League runners-up in all competitions.
Sevilla may now look to press ahead with plans to strengthen their midfield further after sporting director Monchi revealed earlier this week that the club are keen on Liverpool's Joe Allen.
Monchi also confirmed Allen's club team-mate Luis Alberto and Sao Paulo ace Ganso are summer targets for Sevilla.
