Tim Sherwood has hit out at Arsenal playmaker Alexis Sachez for snubbing Arsene Wenger, following his second-half exit from the Gunners' 1-0 victory over Norwich City.

The Chilean was replaced by Francis Coquelin in the 84th-minute, while the home side led through Danny Welbeck's goal, and subsequently walked straight past Wenger and down the tunnel.

Sherwood, who was sacked by Aston Villa last year, critisised the 27-year-old for his attitude after leaving the pitch.

"Straight away he takes the strapping off his wrist and throws it to the floor, which breeds a bad vibe around the place," he told Sky Sports.

"To go straight down the tunnel…

"I'm happy to see him shake hands with his teammate [Francis Coquelin] but then he just gives Arsene the cold shoulder and walks straight down the tunnel which is very disappointing for any manager to see."

The former Spurs player, and coach, believes there may be problems within Wenger's team and has urged the Frenchman to clear the air with Sanchez.

"He's obviously disgruntled. It just shows the disharmony in the squad there at Arsenal," he added.

"I might have a quiet word with him [if he was Wenger] and tell him I wasn't happy with that. It is disrespectful."
