Aggrieved members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) on Thursday brutally killed a policeman as they renewed their protest in opposition to the continued detention of their chief, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.
As said by the spokesman for the police in Kaduna state, Mukhtar Aliyu, the policeman was strolling alongside the highway when members of the group, who're often known as Shiite, stabbed him with knives and stones till he died on the spot.

El-Zakzaky has been in detention since his arrest by operatives of the DSS in December 2015.
