Jose Mourinho attended his first press conference as Manchester United manager on Tuesday and immediately reminded us all why the Premier League is a far more entertaining place with him in it.
Addressing the media, Mourinho wasted no time taking aim at predecessor Louis van Gaal, long-time foe Arsene Wenger and even washed his hands of Ryan Giggs's decision to leave.
There was mention of "philosophies" (that's Van Gaal), Wayne Rooney never playing in midfield (another one for Van Gaal), not being over 60 years old (you again, Louis) and, of course, not winning a title for 10 years (tick that one off, Arsene).
Mourinho was blunt but fair when detailing Giggs's departure, insisting he was simply offered the job ahead of the former assistant before leaving the door open to any future return.
