A Federal High Court Complex.

Six individuals, together with the Commander of Livestock Guard, Tashaku Aliyu, in Benue state have been remanded over the demise of two clergymen and 17 worshippers in Gwer space of the state.

A Chief Magistrates’ Court in Benue, presided over by Isaac Ajim, gave the remand.

The 5 different suspects remanded are Husseini Manga, Ngyohov Shin, David Akenawe, Agada Tsesaa and Tarza Orvanya.

According to the prosecutor, Edward Imo, the suspects and unlawfully secured weapons and assisted herdsmen to terrorise and kill farmers.

He famous that the act is opposite to the anti-open grazing legislation enacted by the federal government.

Imo mentioned based mostly on intelligence, a mixed crew of F-SARS, DSS and the Army moved to Quararafa quarters, arrested Aliyu and took him to FCT Police Command, Abuja for interrogation.

Chief Magistrate Ajim ordered that the accused be remanded in Makurdi jail, and adjourned the case until July 17 for additional listening to.
