Following the successful completion of the 2016 CMCL organised tour of Las Vegas, U.S., which attracted a record 36-participants, attention now shifts to Smokin Hills in Ilara-Mokin, where the 18th in the series of the CMCL Open Golf Championship has been scheduled to hold.
Disclosing this during the week, the Chief Executive Officer of CMCL Golf Tours Limited, Frank Igbene, said the coming event will be a special one considering the fact that it Marks the 60th birthday of Otunba Olusola Adekanola, who is the chairman of CMCL.
Amateur Golfers from across the country have been invited to participate in the event, which will also feature Nigerian professionals, as it has always been a Pro-Am event.
The competition will tee-off on May 16 and will run through to the May 22.
