Inspector-General of Police Ibrahim Idris on Thursday arrange a particular crew of detectives to probe the killing of seven policemen in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
The policemen had been stated to be on patrol alongside the Nnamdi Azikiwe Road after they had been shot lifeless.
National spokesman for the police, DCP Jimoh Moshood, stated that the crew was headed by a Commissioner of Police Bala Ciroma.
The crew contains of 4 Deputy Commissioners, two Assistant Commissioners and a Chief Superintendent.
The spokesman stated that the crew had begun investigation and have 21 days to finish the project.
“The Inspector General of Police hereby implores members of the public in the Federal Capital Territory to cooperate with the Investigation Team,” he stated.
