Stunt driver Alastair Moffat has set a new Guinness World Record, in a Subaru BRZ this time, for the Tightest 360° spin.

Moffat drove the Japanese sports car at a speed of roughly 30mph (48km/h) in a narrow lane of cars, spun it 360 degrees in just 2.25 meters of clearance and accelerated to the end of the course, in one continuous motion.

The previous record was 2.5 meters, achieved in 2014 by flicking the Subaru BRZ in a 360 degree spin between two obstacles, at the Autosport International's Live Action Arena.

"The Subaru BRZ was the perfect car in which to do it; light, highly maneuverable and easy to control. It’s great to have another record to my name", said the stunt driver, right after the show.

No modifications were made to the Subaru BRZ, however, the car had its traction control switched off and its ABS disengaged.
