The authorities of Lagos on Thursday sympathised with households of those that misplaced their lives and property in a calamitous petrol tanker explosion on Otedola Bridge, outward Lagos/Ibadan Express.
Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Kehinde Bamigbetan, described the accident as a unhappy growth.
At least 9 individuals had been burned to demise, whereas about 54 autos had been gutted by fireplace.
“On behalf of the Lagos State Government, we extend our deepest commiseration to the families of persons who lost their lives as well as property to the incident. Our thoughts and prayers are with them in this time of pain and grief,” Bamigbetan mentioned.
“As a government, we would not relent in putting measures in place to ensure safety of lives and property of all residents.”
He mentioned governor Akinwunmi Ambode had directed all related companies to maneuver into the world to normalise the apprehension.
