Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has finally handed Olivier Giroud his first Premier League start of the season.
The French striker has been consistently left behind Alexis Sanchez in the pecking order so far this campaign but is named in the Gunners' XI against West Brom on Boxing Day.
Giroud had previously made 10 top-flight appearances off the bench in 2016-17, netting three goals, but Alexis - who returns to the wing against the Baggies - has made the centre-forward slot his own with 12 goals in 17 league games.
