Danny Ings is named in Liverpool’s squad 224 days after his last appearance for the club as the Reds tackle West Brom in their final Premier League game of the season.
The striker, who has not featured on a matchday since the goalless draw with Everton on October 4, is on the bench at the Hawthorns following his return to training last week.
It will be the England international’s first involvement under Jurgen Klopp as he sustained anterior cruciate ligament damage six days after the manager took charge.
Captain Jordan Henderson, meanwhile, is also among the substitutes as he pushes to be included for the Europa League final against Sevilla on Wednesday. The midfielder, who suffered lateral collateral ligament damage in the 1-1 draw at Borussia Dortmund on April 7, came through his first session back unscathed on Friday.
Tiago Ilori is part of the club’s league squad for the first time and there is also a place on the bench for 19-year-old Sergi Canos, who impressed on loan at Brentford this season.
The Spanish attacker was signed by Liverpool from Barcelona's youth academy in 2013. Fellow youngster Sheyi Ojo secures his fifth top-flight start with Klopp making 11 changes from the side that drew 1-1 with Chelsea in midweek.
