Henrikh Mkhitaryan faces an immediate clash against former club Borussia Dortmund after being named in the Manchester United starting lineup for the International Champions Cup clash between the two sides.
Mkhitaryan joined United from Dortmund at the start of this month and comes up against his old paymasters as both look to get their pre-season tour of the United States off to the perfect start.
United boss Mourinho has also handed a start to fellow new boy Eric Bailly, while Memphis Depay looks set to get a run out up front against Dortmund on Friday.
Mourinho's oppositie number, Thomas Tuchel, has also picked a strong side to face United including Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and promising new signing Ousmane Dembele.
