Manuel Pellegrini has dropped Yaya Toure for Manchester City's must-win clash with Arsenal.
The Ivorian missed last weekend's loss to Southampton with injury but started Wednesday's 1-0 defeat to Real Madrid, with Pellegrini opting to field two up front by choosing Kelechi Iheanacho to partner Sergio Aguero.
City captain Vincent Kompany, David Silva, Aleksandar Kolarov and Pablo Zabaleta were all ruled out of clash, while Raheem Sterling must once again settle for a place among the substitutes.
Arsene Wenger replaces the injured Mesut Ozil with Danny Welbeck and, at the other end of the pitch, Gabriel comes in for the sidelined Per Mertesacker.
Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla continue their comebacks from long-term absences by starting from the bench.
The winner at the Etihad Stadium will put themselves in a great position to finish at least third in the Premier League table. City are currently three points behind Arsenal but have superior goal difference.
Defeat for Man City could spell serious concern for their top-four aspirations. Arch-rivals Manchester United are just one point off them and will have a game in hand following Sunday's tussle.
Contrastingly, Arsenal have second place in their sights due to Tottenham's 2-1 defeat to Southampton. They'll go level with their north London rivals on 70 points if they win, though behind on goal difference, with one matchday to go.
