Tecno Nigeria in association with Africa Magic have announced the Tecno ‘Own The Stage’ Karaoke Competition which sees talented singers across the continent battling it out for a prize of $50,000 and an opportunity to record a song and go on a tour with a renowned musical act maybe Yemi Alade
All you need to do to be in the competition is, visit the Tecno ‘Own The stage’ website – http://tecnoownthestage.com and select a track from the list. Then you will have to record a Karaoke rendition and upload the track via the submission form on the website. The uploaded track is then subjected to a review by the judges who will select the top entries and the selected contestants will be notified directly.
15 successful contestants will battle in front of a panel of judges to secure a spot in the grand finale. The Tecno Own the Stage competition will premiere on October 25, 2015 and it will be showing on Africa Magic DStv 151.
The winner will be unveiled at the grand finale event in February, 2016.
