While not our cup of tea, this 2001 Chevrolet Silverado truck turned into a murdered out Cadillac wannabe with the face of a third-gen Escalade deserves some brownie points for the effort.
Hey, if GM had prodded into the full-size pickup truck category at the time, it would have probably conceived something very similar to this, and if you don’t believe us, just take a look at the Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade SUVs.
Beyond the Escalade face-transplant, the ‘Chevillac Silverade’ or ‘Cadilloret Escalverado’ has a matching rear bumper from the 2012MY version of the SUV, complete with chrome trims and exhaust finishers, together with a few Cadillac-style cues inside like wood accents, instrument gauge graphics and headrest logos. It also comes with something that…will have you scratching your head; headrest-mounted DVD screens.
You can find it up for sale over at Craigslist in Chicago with the owner having listed it for $14,900.
