The former Newcastle United attacker has returned to form since moving back to hs native France and has reportedly caught the eye of the Ligue 1 champions

Former Newcastle United winger Ben Arfa has admitted that he would be open to a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The 28-year-old, who has hit form once again since moving to Nice, has been publicly lauded by PSG boss Laurent Blanc as the attacker's future once again comes into question ahead of the summer transfer window.

And in an interview with Onze Mondial, Ben Arfa has left the door open to not only the French champions, but to any other club who wish to negotiate for his services.

"The door is always open for PSG," he said. "Moreover, it is open to all clubs - I don't close the door on anyone."

The forward, who fell out with then coach Alan Pardew, described his time at Newcastle as "hell" and says he even considered quitting, though he has now returned to a happier place.

"Yes, I contemplated retiring," he added. "I told myself: 'Come on, it's fine, let's get drunk! They don't want me? bah, I'll stop everything'. I wanted to chuck it all, but not for long.

"Hell is when you can’t see the end of the tunnel. You’re on your own, with no one to support you and you move forward in the fog. You don’t know where you’re going.

"I'm lucky now to have a club and a coach who support me. It's paradise compared to what I went through. I don't feel lonely any more - I feel loved."
