Today Instagram, that app Facebook bought for a billion or so dollars a while back, debuted a new look. We should have seen this coming a mile a way.
The app now sports a redesigned black-and-white design and a colorful, gradient-laden icon. The new look isn’t all that bad — it’s clean and bright and more forward-leaning than the company’s super retro icon that seemed to be inspired by polaroid. You can’t ride the wave of nostalgia forever.
