There is a united voice in opposition to Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, in accordance with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress John Odigie-Oyegun
Odigie-Oyegun subtly stated this over the weekend in Abuja whereas talking on the extended disaster rocking the Imo chapter of the party.
Famzn News gathered that Okorocha is being witch-hunted by the party’s management for opposing the tenure elongation transfer for the outgoing National Working Committee (NWC) members.
The governor can also be having a battle with the Odigie-Oyegun-led NWC after dropping management of the party’s within the state.
The party’s nationwide chairman puzzled why Okorocha could be focused when he was the one one which opposed the transfer.
Reacting to the allegation, Odigie-Oyegun stated Okorocha “wasn’t the strongest pressure behind the objection to tenure elongation. So why is his case totally different? I don’t assume it's needed to enter the main points.
“Well, the processes are nonetheless on and it's not good to reply you intimately. But the reply lies in a single reality that he's not the one one who opposed the so-called tenure elongation, how come he's the one one being witch-hunted?
“When you look at the totality of the events in that state, I think you can get a clearer picture of what is going on there. There is a united voice calling for a different way of doing things so to speak.”
