The rules-based order have to be defended, she stated, and disputes couldn't be solved by nations taking "unilateral actions against their partners".

Jeremy Corbyn stated Donald Trump was responsible for the summit's "failure".

The summit in Canada resulted in disarray after the United States President retracted his help for the communiqué agreed by G7 leaders after which criticised Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau on social media.

In a assertion to MPs on the summit, Mrs May praised Mr Trudeau's "skilful" dealing with of proceedings and stated the leaders had established "common ground" on a vary of issues.

On commerce, stated she had been "very clear" that US tariffs on European metal and aluminium imports have been damaging and dialogue was wanted to make sure the dispute didn't escalate into a full-blown commerce conflict.

Multilateral motion was wanted to stop "tit-for-tat" reprisals, she stated, including that the issues of nations about unfair commerce practices have to be "addressed not ignored".
