Antonio Conte's time at Chelsea is officially over, with owner Roman Abramovich sacking the Italian after a tense two year relationship.

The energetic coach has had a rocky time at Stamford Bridge since the beginning of his tenure, with Conte frustrated at not being able to bring in a number of key transfer targets.

Nevertheless, Conte enjoyed a highly successful period with the Blues, winning the Premier League crown in his debut season before seeing off Manchester United in last season's FA Cup final at Wembley.

Here, we take a look at some of the Italians best moments in charge.

6. A Dream Night in Madrid

Atletico Madrid 1-2 Chelsea (Champions League)

Thanks to goals from Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi in the fourth minute of injury time, Chelsea were able to take all three points from Madrid in a stadium where Atletico had not tasted defeat since their arrival at the start of the 2017/18 season.

With Atletico Madrid fast becoming are one of the heavyweights of European football, it was a result that few had seen coming. In the entirety of last season, the La Liga side only conceded eight goals at the new Wanda Stadium, which makes Chelsea's feat all the more impressive.

Antonio Conte would have particularly enjoyed it knowing Diego Costa, a player he endured an acrimonious falling out with prior to his departure, was watching on from the stands.

5. A Wembley Debut to Remember

Chelsea 4-2 Tottenham (FA Cup Semi-Final)

A brace by Willian, coupled with goals from Eden Hazard and a thunderbolt from Nemanja Matic, saw Conte's side book their place in the FA Cup final during his first season.

At the time, Spurs were closing in on Chelsea at the top of the Premier League, with the points gap narrowed down to just four. Despite the momentum seemingly being in Spurs' favour, Conte's side produced a rousing performance to steal the show.

A tight affair saw Chelsea come out on top, as a tactical masterclass from Conte saw him bring Hazard off the bench to turn the game on his head.

4. Record Breaking Winning Streak

13 Wins in a Row (Premier League record)

Conte made club history in his first season at Stamford Bridge, as Chelsea had never won 13 consecutive league games before.

The Italian did just that in a spell which started in October and finished in December. Wins against Spurs, Manchester United and Manchester City were the highlight of a fantastic run, with Conte's side seemingly becoming unbeatable until they slid to defeat at Tottenham.

The run sent out a stern message to the rest of the Premier League, with Conte's new look side embracing the 3-5-2 formation that is now rife across England's top flight.

3. Battering Manchester United at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea 4-0 Manchester United (Premier League)

It had been well publicised that Conte and Jose Mourinho's relationship was tense, but it was Conte who came out on top in Mourinho's first return to Stamford Bridge.

With Conte's back three system starting to gel together nicely, the Blues ran riot over a desperately poor United side at Stamford Bridge. An early goal from Pedro laid the platform, before Gary Cahill and Eden Hazard put them three to the good.

N'Golo Kante completed the rout, with Mourinho left looking particularly sheepish as Conte enjoyed the biggest league win of his Chelsea career to that point.

2. FA Cup Glory

Even though there seemed to be a tense atmosphere at the club, Conte was still able to deliver a trophy in his second season, which is more than can be said for most.

After a disappointing end to the Premier League, he made it partially right with a win against Mourinho on a hot, sunny day at Wembley. A first half penalty from Eden Hazard was the difference between the two sides, though it was the fighting spirit shown by his side that epitomised the strength in character that Conte had instilled into his players.

The win ensured Conte's reign at Chelsea delivered a second major trophy, and his first ever cup competition win as a manager.

1. Conquering the Premier League

Premier League Title Win (2016/17)

There is no greater feat in football than winning the most competitive league in the world in your debut season.

With no Champions League football to concern him or his squad, Conte had to make sure his side were competitive in the Premier League, or he would face intense pressure from the beginning of his reign.

A dreadful performance at the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal was the catalyst for Conte's genius tactical tweak to three at the back, with his side then going on to dominate the remainder of the campaign.

Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho and co were despatched in comfortable fashion as the Blues reigned supreme in the Premier League yet again.
